Question: How do I install my own prints?
Answer: Installing your own prints is achieved in three easy steps. Firstly setting up a Supplier to link the print/product to, setting up an Artist for the product and thirdly installing the print/product itself.
It is critical that you setup your Supplier and Artist first before adding new prints/products so you will not need to jump backwards and forwards, adding, editing and then linking everything correctly.

To setup a new Artist, please refer to FAQ How do I setup a new artist?
This FAQ is specifically written for installing a print/product and can easily done so by doing the following:
1. Open your browser and enter the URL to your shop administration: http://www.yourdomainname.com.au/theinstalldirectory/admin.
2. Login to your admin panel using your username and password.
3. Click the Prints catalogue menu item on the left of your screen.
4. The screen that has loaded lists your catagories and sub-catagories for all your prints. Simply select an existing catagory by clicking the yellow folder next to the catagory name or click the new catagory button to setup a new catagory.
5. Once you are happy with the catagory location, simply click the new product button.
6. Firstly select In Stock or Out of Stock for the product.
7. Select the date in which the product will be available.
8. Assuming you have already setup the products artist, select the artist of the product.
9. Assuming you have already setup a products supplier, select the supplier of the product.
10. Enter the products name with the given field.
11. Enter the products price.
12. Enter a products description if any.
13. Select the products image locally from your computer.
14. Enter a unique Code attached to specify whether it belongs to a specific catalogue as such. This is optional, although does help in speeding up search functionality of locating the print more quickly.
15. Enter the products final height and width.
16. Finally, enter the weight of the product.
17. Click the Preview button and then click insert on the final screen.
18. Done.
If you would like to enable cropping for the print/product you will be required to edit the product and then select the Edit Cropping button.
Question: How do I setup a new Supplier?
Answer: You can easily setup a new supplier by doing the following.
1. Open your browser and enter the URL to your shop administration: http://www.yourdomainname.com.au/theinstalldirectory/admin.
2. Login to your admin panel using your username and password.
3. Click the Prints catalogue menu item on the left of your screen.
4. Click the Manage suppliers menu item on the left of your screen.
5. Click the Insert button located underneath the current Supplier listing.
6. Enter in your Supplier name, the percentage in which you would like to increase the cost price by.
7. Click the Save button to accept the new Supplier.
8. By default, new suppliers have no linked products and there fore the Status of the supplier is turned off. Please remember after completing the final steps and you want to have a markup price attached to the supplier, return to the Supplier Management screen and turn the Status on.
Question: How do I setup a new Artist?
Answer: You can easily setup a new artist by doing the following.
1. Open your browser and enter the URL to your shop administration: http://www.yourdomainname.com.au/theinstalldirectory/admin.
2. Login to your admin panel using your username and password.
3. Click the Prints catalogue menu item on the left of your screen.
4. Click the Manage artists menu item on the left of your screen.
5. Click the Insert button located underneath the current Artist listing.
6. Enter in the Artists name and then click the save button.
7. Done.
Question: How do I modify prices for particular prints, frames and mat boards?
Answer: You can modify prices for particular prints, frames and mat boards by doing the following.
We will be using the a print for this example, although the same rule applies to turning frames, mat boards and glass on or off.
1. Open your browser and enter the URL to your shop administration: http://www.yourdomainname.com.au/theinstalldirectory/admin.
2. Login to your admin panel using your username and password.
3. Click the Prints catalogue menu item on the left of your screen.
4. The screen that has loaded lists your catagories and sub-catagories for your prints. Simply click on any of the yellow folders next to the catagory name to enter the catagory.
5. Select your print in the product list and click the edit button on the right of your screen.
6. Within the editing screen you will find the products price, Net and Gross. Simply modify the price and make sure all details for the product are correct.
7. Once you have made your changes, scroll down the page and click the Preview button.
8. On the next screen, simply click the update button.
9. Done.
Question: How do I turn off a particular product in the software?
Answer: You can turn off any print, frame, mat board, glass item by simply doing the following.
We will be using the a print for this example, although the same rule applies to turning frames, mat boards and glass on or off.
1. Open your browser and enter the URL to your shop administration: http://www.yourdomainname.com.au/theinstalldirectory/admin.
2. Login to your admin panel using your username and password.
3. Click the Prints catalogue menu item on the left of your screen.
4. The screen that has loaded lists your catagories for your prints. Simply click on any of the yellow folders to enter the catagory.
5. On the catagory list screen you will notice a Status column which defines a product being on or off in your cart. Simply click on or off for the specific product.
6. Done.
Question: How do I turn a particular catagory on or off?
Answer: You can turn a particluar catagory on or off by simply doing the following.
We will be using the a print catagory for this example, although the same rule applies to turning any catagory on or off for frames, mat boards and glass.
1. Open your browser and enter the URL to your shop administration: http://www.yourdomainname.com.au/theinstalldirectory/admin.
2. Login to your admin panel using your username and password.
3. Click the Prints catalogue menu item on the left of your screen.
4. The screen that has loaded lists your catagories for your prints. Here you will notice a Status column which defines a catalogue being on or off in your cart. Simply click on or off for the specific catagory.
5. Done.
Question: How do I modify prints/products prices that are linked to a supplier, ie. markup price?
Answer: You can modify the prints prices that are linked to a supplier by doing the following:
Each product within the Artemis solution is linked to a specific supplier. We will be using the prints specifically as an example for this FAQ, although the same rule applies for all products within the system.
1. Open your browser and enter the URL to your shop administration: http://www.yourdomainname.com.au/theinstalldirectory/admin.
2. Login to your admin panel using your username and password.
3. Click on the Prints catalogue menu on the left hand side of the screen. Once the menu has loaded, click the Manage Suppliers menu item.
4. Select the specific supplier you wish to modify and then click the edit button on the right side of the screen.
5. Enter the Percentage you wish to increase all products by, and then click the Update button.
6. Done.
Once you have modified the percentage, you must turn the Status for the Supplier on or the percentage will not take affect.
Question: How can I change the colours of the template to suit my needs?
Answer: The answer to this FAQ is written for people who already have knowledge of colour values specifically RGB and also CSS programming.
You can modify the colours of the template and menu bars within your store front by doing the following:
1. Open your browser and enter the URL to your shop administration: http://www.yourdomainname.com.au/theinstalldirectory/admin.
2. Login to your admin panel using your username and password.
3. Click on the Tools Menu on the left hand side of the screen. Once the menu has loaded, click on the File Manager menu item.
4. Once the page has loaded, scroll down the page untill you find the file stylesheet.css. Once located click the stylesheet.css file name.
5. Click on the edit button on the right hand side of the screen.
6. A default install of the Artemis solution has used the RGB colour value of #626263. Locate all references to the value in your style sheet and change them to your own RGB value.
7. Click the save button once you have made the changes.
8. Done.
Question: How can I change the Copyright notice at the bottom of the pages?
Answer: The copyright notice at the bottom of your store front can be modified by doing the following:
1. Open your browser and enter the URL to your shop administration: http://www.yourdomainname.com.au/theinstalldirectory/youradminfolder.
2. Login to your admin panel using your username and password.
3. Click on the My Store link on the left within the Configuration menu.
4. Click the edit button on the right handside of the screen.
5. Enter the name of your Online Store within the given field and click the update button.
6. Done.
Question: How do I change the Business logo at the top of the pages?
Answer: Firstly you will need to create your logo and upload it to your hosting account within the images directory. To edit and apply the new logo you must do the following:
1. Open your browser and enter the URL to your shop administration: http://www.yourdomainname.com.au/theinstalldirectory/admin.
2. Login to your admin panel using your username and password.
3. Click on the Tools Menu on the left handside of the screen. Once the menu has loaded, click on the File Manager menu item.
4. Click the yellow folder image next to includes.
5. Click the header.php file. Once loaded you then click the Edit button on the right handside of the screen.
6. Scroll down inside the textarea field and locate the line as the following:

and replace with:

7. Once you have made the changes, simply the click the save button.
8. Done.
We will be releasing a patch later down the track to modify this easier, along with many other items to make the process of setting up the cart more quickly.
